honeymoon at Perhentian Island

I'm not giving this five on one point - the food is shocking, and everything that you buy at the hotel is expensive/ overpriced.
This isn't a problem though, you get everything you need just round the corner 5 minutes walk, and the accomodation and location more than make up for it. The beach is the best, and there's quite good snorkling - we saw a good diverstiy of fish, but not the density that we'd seen at Pulau Tioman (Bagus Place - good honeymoon/couples spot btw).
We had been at Mama's place - a confused booking having been perplexed by all the mixture of reviews for hotels on Perhentian Besar - however, as soon as we got there, there was no shadow of a doubt that if you're honeymooning on Perhentian Besar - you stay at the PIR.
